Insomnia Cookies

After OH Pizza and Brew, my friend Justin and I decided to drive to Insomnia Cookies, located at 2209 North High Street. It was the first time purchasing Insomnia Cookies for the both of us, so we didn't know what to get at first. In the end, Justin got a couple of chocolate chunk cookies, while I got a cookiewich, mint chocolate chip ice cream sandwiched by a triple chocolate deluxe, and a chocolate chunk cookie. We both loved the cookies, since they were freshly baked and soft; I loved the cookiewhich because everything came together perfectly. We both truly recommend this place when you're craving cookies, ice cream, or both at night.

Taqueria Guadalajara

Today I went to Taqueria Guadalajara, which is a Mexican restaurant located at 6140 Cleveland Avenue. I ordered a burrito of carne asada with beans, rice, lettuce, and tomatoes, with a side of cut carrots and radishes. I also ordered horchata for my beverage, and I was not let down. Everything was delicious, from the horchata tasting "perfect", to the burrito being rich and tasteful. I also ordered three tacos and they were outstanding. The tacos were literally made to perfection, and they tasted even better after adding lime to them. I truly recommend coming to this restaurant if you're craving Mexican food.

Bojangles

For Thanksgiving break, my relatives from North Carolina came to visit. They didn't come empty handed however, bringing a box of fresh Bojangles that they bought along the way here. When I realized they bought some for us, I was totally hyped, not because they brought food, but because Bojangles means a lot to me. What most people don't know about me is that I'm originally from Charlotte, North Carolina. Bojangles is also from Charlotte, being founded in the Queen City in 1977. I used to eat it when I lived in North Carolina, until I moved here to Ohio. I only have Bojangles when I visit my relatives in Charlotte because the fast food restaurant only serves in the Southeastern region of the country, and not here in Ohio. Every time I have Bojangles, I always have memories from when I used to live in North Carolina, and I feel like I'm still living there when I eat it as well. One day when I was discussing another paper with my English professor, Mr. Ryder, we talked a...

Peace, Love and Little Donuts

This morning I went to Peace, Love and Little Donuts, located at 656 High Street. The donut shop is in the city where I've grown up, Worthington. I've heard a lot of good things about this place and decided to give it a try. The shop is somewhat small, but is big inside, kinda like the donuts themselves. One of the workers gave me a sample donut after he asked me if I've ever had the donuts there before and I replied with no. Their donuts are small in size, but huge in taste. I ordered four funkadelic donuts, a razzle dazzle, an oreo, a chocolate bacon, and a cookie dough, with chocolate milk as my beverage. All four donuts had marvelous taste, with lots of different toppings on them. These donuts compare better than other shops, such as Krispy Kreme, because even though the donuts are small, they have more dough inside, and have multiple toppings on them, some very unique toppings, such as bacon, to make them taste so delicious! The donuts from Peace, Love and Little Donu...
